A funny thing happened one day at Minne Lusa House, 2737 Mary Street. A few of us neighbors were discussing ways that we could better communicate neighborhood “goings on” and news. A thought bubble appeared over the top of the table of neighbors and the Minne Lusa Messenger was born. High fives all around!
A meeting of volunteers took place this last January and ideas for stories flowed. Story assignments went to volunteer writers: Jessica R., Rosalind M., Larry R., Matt B., Denise C., Kristine G., Jeanne C., Michelle J., Kathy H., Sheila O., and our editor Paulissa K., to check content and a graphic designer Viki A. to pull it together was decided.
